SPOKEN ENGLISH ఇప్పుడు పుస్తక రూపంలో

నమస్కారములు. 

ఇంగ్లిష్ ఒక subject గా మనము ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాలుగా చదువుతున్నాము. అంతేనా.. మిగిలిన subjects కూడా ఇంగ్లిష్ లోనే చదువుతున్నాము. కానీ ఇంగ్లిష్ మాటలాడటం ఒక సమస్య గానే ఫీల్ అవుతున్నాము. కారణం ఏమిటి. దీనికి నాకు తెలిసిన పరిష్కారం 2 సంవత్సరాలుగా నా బ్లాగులలో వివరిస్తూనే ఉన్నాను. అది పుస్తక రూపంలో వుంటే బాగుంటుందని మిత్రులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

 నా బోధన అనుభవాన్ని జోడించి 40 పేజీల A4 సైజ్ పుస్తకాన్ని DTP చేయించాను. ఇవన్నీ నా బ్లాగులో వివరించి నప్పటికి మరికొన్ని విషయాలను చేర్చి నాకు తెలిసినంతలో చక్కగా కూర్చాను. ఇది బజారులో దొరికే అందమైన పుస్తకాలులా మల్టీ కలర్స్ తో వుండదు. మామూలు ఫోటోస్టాట్ కాపీలలా ఉంటుంది. (మీరు నేను పంపిన pdf ఫైల్ని print తీయించుకోవాలి. లేదా అలాగే చదువుకోవచ్చు.) కానీ విషయం మాత్రం బజారు లో  దొరికే spoken english పుస్తకాలులా ఖచ్చితంగా ఉండదు. ఒకరకంగా చెప్పాలంటే ఇది మీకు ఇంగ్లిష్ నేర్పడంతోపాటుగా, ఇంగ్లిష్ మీకు ఎందుకు రావడం లేదో తెలుపడంతో పాటు అందుకు మీరు ఏమిచేయాలో తెలుపుతుంది. అసలు సమస్య ఏదో తెలిసికుంటే పరిష్కారం దానికదే దొరుకుతుంది.

పుస్తకం గురించి మరి 4 మాటలు

*ఇంగ్లిష్ నేర్చుకోవడానికి బయట చాలా books దొరుకుతాయి. అవన్నీ పనికిరానివి...  నేను వ్రాసింది మాత్రమే మంచిదా... ?! అయ్యో అదేం కాదు. ప్రతి పుస్తకంలో మనము నేర్చుకోదగిన అంశాలు చాలా వుంటాయి. కానీ ఏ రచయితా సమగ్రంగా అన్ని అంశాలను ఒకే పుస్తకంలో ఇవ్వలేడు. అందులో నేను కూడా మినహాయింపు కాదు. ఒక్కో అంశాన్ని ఒక్కో రచయిత చాలా చక్కగా చెబుతాడు. ఉదాహరణకు voice గురించి ఒక పుస్తకంలో చక్కటి సమాచారం ఉంటుంది. కానీ modal auxiliary verbs గురించి ఆ పుస్తక రచయిత మనకు సరైన సమాచారం ఇచ్చి ఉండకపోవచ్చు. అందుకే మనము 3,4 పుస్తకాలు మన వద్ద ఉంచుకోవాలి. ఆ 3,4 ఏవి? అనే మీ సందేహం నా పుస్తకం తో మీకు తీరుతుంది. నాకు తెలిసిన books నేను మీకు suggest చేస్తానన్నమాట....బయట మీరు spoken english నేర్చుకోవాలంటే షుమారు 3000 చెల్లించాలి కదా.. పోనీ కోచింగ్ సెంటర్ కు ఒక 3 నెలలు మీరు వెళ్లినంత మాత్రాన మీకు ఇంగ్లిష్ వచ్చేస్తుందా.. ఖచ్చితంగా రాదు. వచ్చినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది. అంతే....  మరెమి చేద్దాం... 
సమాధానం ఈ పుస్తకంలో దొరుకుతుందేమో చూద్దాం... 
*సరే మరో విషయం చూద్దాం... 
ఒక గ్రామర్ పుస్తకం మనము open చేస్తే మనకు వందలాది అంశాలు కనిపిస్తాయి. వామ్మో .... ఇన్ని చాప్టర్సా... ఇవన్నీ చదవాలా? అనిపిస్తుంది. అవన్నీ చదివితే మాకు లాగా మీకూ మతి పోతుంది. మీకు తెలుసా?!..  గ్రామర్ బాగా వచ్చిన teachers అనర్ఘలంగా english మాటలాడలేరు. నేనైనా అంతే... ఎందుకంటే... మేము ఒక వాక్యము మాటలాడాలని అనుకున్నాము అనుకోండి. ఇక్కడ since వాడాలా, for వాడాలా అని ఒక సెకను ఆగిపోతామ్. ఈ లోపు మనము మాట్లాడాల్సిన వ్యక్తి వెళ్ళి పోతాడు. మనము since లేక for ఏదో ఒకటి వుంచి మాటలాడటమే ముఖ్యం. ఏది పెట్టినా కొంపలేమీ మునిగిపోవు. ముందు మాటలాడటం అలవాటు అయితే తప్పులనేవి మనకు మెల్లమెల్లగా తెలిసిపోతుంటాయి. తరువాత వాటిని సరిదిద్దు కుంటె సరిపోతుంది. అందుకే గ్రామర్ మరీ లోతుగా తెలిసికునే కొద్ది మనకు అనవసరమైన doubts వస్తాయి.  అందుకే మనకు ఎంత అవసరమో అంతే నేర్చుకుందాం.. ఆ అంత.. ఎంత? అనేది మన పుస్తకంలో చూద్దాం...
*మరో విషయం...
రోజూ కనిపించే మీ friend మీకు 10 రోజులుగా కనపడకుండా..... 11 వ రోజు కనిపిస్తే మామూలుగా మనము ఏమంటాము... ఇన్నాళ్ళు ఏమై పోయావు... ఎక్కడికి వెళ్ళి వచ్చావు.? అంటాము... ఇంతకీ ఎక్కడకు వెల్లివచ్చావు? అనేదాన్ని english లో ఏమనాలి. Where did you go and when did you come అనా, లేక where you go when you come  అనా...  కానే కాదు... మరి... Where have you been? ఎక్కడకు వెళ్ళి (వచ్చి)నావు... అనాలి.,  He has been to Bombay అంటే అతను బొబాయి వెళ్ళి వచ్చినాడు... దీనిలో go, కానీ come గానీ లేనే లేవు. మరి అది అలా అర్ధం ఎలా పలుకుతుంది ?... ఈ పిచ్చి english తో మన తలనొప్పి అదే... “ఇవి మాత్రము నేర్చుకుంటే చాలు మనము ఇంగ్లిష్ మాట్లాడవచ్చు అనే ధైర్యం ఇచ్చే  ఇలాంటి షుమారు 40 active vocabulary మనకు బజారు లో దొరికే ఏ పుస్తకంలో దొరుకుతుంది. ? వీటికి సమాధానము కూడా మనకు ఈ పుస్తకంలో దొరుకుతుంది.

Interesting facts about days and dates

AD stands for Anno Domini (Latin for "In the year of (Our) Lord"), abbreviated as AD. It defines an epoch based on the traditionally-reckoned year of the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth. it is used in the English language to denote years after the start of this time.

BC stands for Before Christ (from the Ancient Greek "Christos" or "Anointed One", referring to Jesus), abbreviated as BC, it is used in the English language to denote years before the start of this time.

Some non-Christians also use the abbreviations AD and BC without intending to acknowledge the Christian connotation, but some people prefer the alternatives 'CE' (Common Era) and 'BCE' (Before Common Era), arguing that they are more neutral terms. .

A millennium (pl. Millennia) is a period of one thousand years.

A century is a period of one hundred consecutive years. Centuries are numbered ordinally (e.g. "the nineteenth century").

A decade is a period of 10 years.

!Note - When writing the date as numbers British and American English differ. To write the date 7th of September 2007 a Brit would write dd/mm/yy (07/09/07) and an American would write mm/dd/yy (09/07/07). This often causes great confusion. It's better to write the date in full (7th September 2007 or September 7th 2007). It also looks nicer.
